Later about 50 minutes in the movie the two characters are sitting in a restaurant and I noticed in the background some music that sounded familiar, it wasn't PJ, but it was the intro to Betterman that Ed played on the 2000 tour.

Joe's Apartment

0:10:04

One of the posters that Joe puts up is a Soundgarden/Pearl Jam poster. In the movie, all you see is that it's Thursday, April 30th, something about a Unicorn, and "OWELL A59." According to info from the Concert Chronology (thanks 5h) this poster is valid. PJ played 1992.04.30 at the Unicorn Club in Houston, Texas, opening for Soundgarden. MTV has news footage of PJ playing RITFW with Soundgarden. Check out the Concert Chronology; they have more info on it.

Lost and Found

David Spade gives a girl a tape, and says something about it having Pearl Jam on it. I've seen this movie and don't remember it.

School of Rock - Jack Black

I saw a screening of School of Rock last night, and there is a part where Jack Black is going through the history of rock music and on the blackboard under GRUNGE you can see Nirvana and Pearl Jam listed.

Singles - Cameron Crowe

By popular demand, I'm adding movies that PJ members have appeared ON THE SCREEN in.

Sliver

Sharon Stone mentions a Pearl Jam concert at the office. Need to get the exact line On another note, Sliver was her new movie in 1992 and she hosted SNL (riding the wave of Basic Instinct) in which Pearl Jam first appeared.

Stepmom

"You want to take her to a Pearl Jam concert on a school night?"

Strange Frequency

In the short entitled "My Generation", Todd (played by Christopher Masterson) is in a diner, when asked by a waitress if all is to his liking, he says everythings good, but "Shame about the music, do you have any Pearl Jam?" In the short entitled "Room Service", a maid (played by Holland Taylor) is cleaning up a hotel room that was trashed by a rock star. A journalist asked her if it annoys her, she says, "They're not all bad, Mr Vedder was a perfect gentleman." Journalist: "You mean, Eddie Vedder?!" Maid: "Yes, Mr. Vedder."

I guess he is, but have you ever watched his clip with the sound turned off? He just looks like he's jumping around like a crazy person."

*Brotherly Love

Joey Lawrence's character mentions his PJ CD

*Celebrity Deathmatch

"Celebrity Deathmatch, that infamous claymation wrestling show. We have Eddie Vedder pitted against Creed's Scott Stapp in an argument over whose vocal chords are whose. Ironically, Scott Weiland (Mike says it was Tom Waits) shows up in the middle telling Stapp that he stole Eddie's voice FIRST. After a rather gruesome 5 minutes, it does end in a Vedder Victory. "

Starts off with "The Calling" doing a video, then Scott Stapp from Creed comes in, and then Eddie and the boys come in, and then finally Ray Charles. The idea is that each ripped off his voice from the previous person. If the link doesn't work, you may try to download it from my website. Be warned: it is a 5 MB file, and I could lock it out at any time if the bandwidth becomes a problem.
